Abstract: This study investigates the effects of sivelestat sodium hydrate, a neutrophil elastase inhibitor, on ischemia-reperfusion injury in the rat bladder. Ischemia-reperfusion injury is a common issue that can cause significant damage to various tissues, including the bladder. The study demonstrates that sivelestat sodium hydrate can mitigate this damage by inhibiting neutrophil elastase, thereby reducing inflammation and tissue injury.
