Abstract / 摘要
This study introduced a method to continuously collect allelopathic compounds from the intact root system of Bigalta limpograss using a nutrient solution circulated through a column containing XAD-4 resin. The method enabled the identification of 12 primary phenolic compounds with growth-regulating activities.

Methods / 方法
1. Culture Method: Using a sand culture system with Bigalta limpograss.

2. Collection System: Nutrient solution circulated through the root system and XAD-4 resin column to adsorb hydrophobic metabolites from the root exudates.

3. Separation and Analysis: Eluted the resin with methanol and separated the compounds using paper and thin-layer chromatography. Identified the compounds using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
